The Real-Time version is actually an upgrade of the 3rdEye Post Mission System. All features of the Post Mission System are retained. Added features are:

• Real-time vehicle tracking - get a report of where your vehicle is when you want it.
• Vehicle location is reported in two different ways:
  
  • In text mode, referenced to a known way point.
  • In graphics mode, the vehicle is plotted on top of Google Earth/Google Maps.
  • The vehicle is plotted also on top of Starcomm Map. This is useful in locations where Google Maps have not been updated.
• An emergency/panic button is available to the driver.
• An engine sensor is part of standard package.

Optional:

• Hands-free mic and speaker for voice communication with driver.
• Inputs and outputs are available on request.

How it works:

• A 3rdEye GPS Mobile Unit® (Real-Time) is attached to the cab of the vehicle.
• The Unit is equipped with an on-board GPS receiver that receives information on the position of your vehicle from GPS satellites.
• The Mobile Unit sends GPS and sensor data to Starcomm's Monitoring System via GSM Network through a on-board GSM cellular modem as an SMS or text-message
• Reports are available online at the StarComm Online Monitoring page.
