The 3rdEye reports can tell you:

• The 3rdEye summarizes the data in different ways to give you a short report. However, if required, a minute-by-minute route of your vehicle, down to street names, is available.
• Over-speeding and harsh braking.
• Total time of vehicle use.
• Door and temperature status (for refrigerated cargo).
• Travel stops.
• Distance travelled (computed from point-to-point GPS data, NOT an odometer reading).
• Excessive engine idling time. The vehicle is not moving but the engine is running, which is a waste of fuel.

How it works:

• A 3rdEye GPS Mobile Unit® (Post Mission) is attached to the vehicle.
• The Unit is equipped with an external GPS antenna that picks up signals from GPS satellites.
• The Mobile Unit can be programmed to record at different intervals
• The Interval can range from twenty seconds to nine multiples of twenty seconds (three minutes)
• A detachable memory cartridge records the following:
  • date, time, longtitude, latitude, speed, acceleration/decceleration of your vehicle
  • status of the different inputs such as engine, temperature etc.
• Recorded data is uploaded to a computer when the memory cartridge is transfered to a base uploader.
• The 3rdEye software generates a number of reports that help in the management of driver and vehicle.
• The reports can be viewed on screen on sent to any windows printer.
• The reports can also be exported to Excel format, and/or Adobe acrobat format.
