How
it works:
A
Mobile Unit is attached to the cab of the vehicle. The Unit
is equipped with a GPS external antenna that picks up signals from
24 satellites orbiting the Earth twice daily. The Mobile Unit
can be factory programmed to record intervals ranging from every two
minutes to every four minutes
A
detachable memory cartridge records the movement of your vehicle,
storing dates, time, and location (street names and districts) within
a 10 meter radius.
When
the vehicle returns to the Base Station, the detachable memory cartridge
is placed inside the Base Unit which is attached to a computer
running the 3rdEye Software.
The
Base Unit reads the data stored in the detachable memory cartidge
and generates a report on the whereabouts of your vehicle during the
assigned trip.
A
hard copy of the report can then be printed by any Windows printer
